Having completed my BA (Hons) in Creative Imaging: Graphic Design, gaining an upper second classification, I set out to find some experience in the design or printing industry.

Now working with a printing company doing mainly large banners, I have experience in scaling artwork, sending artwork to digital printers, outputting films for screen print, talking to customers, redoing client artwork, and designing for the company. However, I am still learning by going to evening classes at collage developing websites using Macromedia Dreamweaver and would still like to learn more within design and printing industries.

Here I assisted artists and designers in projects which involve children at summer holiday clubs, in and around Bradford. Projects included the interior design of a DJ room, cartoon character murals, and arts and crafts.

Skills

Interests and Leisure

I have always had a keen interest in drawing and photography leading me towards art and design courses which I have thoroughly enjoyed. After foundation Art and Design at college I was torn between graphic design and photography as I enjoyed both subjects but decided to follow Graphic Design.

I am a dedicated musician, playing clarinet and saxophone with a local concert band, playing concerts in and around Bradford. I have been a member for 10 years and also publicity officer.

Other leisure activities include watching band concerts, going to the theatre, film, reading, travelling, kickboxing, swimming, socialising and keeping up to date with news and media.
